Experience May's Magic: St. Pete Flats Fishing Beckons!
Hey there! Just got back from an awesome flats fishing trip with SRS Adventures out of St. Petersburg. May is a great time to hit the flats here in Florida - the water's warming up and the fish are getting active. We met up at 1:00 am, which is early, but it's the best time to get out there before the sun heats things up.
The weather was perfect - clear conditions all day long. The water looked great too, which always gets me excited. We tried out a variety of techniques, working different spots on the flats. Even though we didn't manage to land any big ones this time, we still had a blast out there. Sometimes it's just about being on the water, you know?
I really enjoyed showing t around some of my favorite spots. St. Pete has some incredible flats fishing, and even on days when the fish aren't biting, the views are hard to beat. We saw some good signs of fish activity, which kept things interesting. I always say, a day on the water beats a day anywhere else!
