Master buoyancy control in Crystal River's pristine waters!
One for the books today! I took Soundarya out for an early morning dive session starting at 3:00 am in April, and the conditions couldn't have been better. Clear conditions throughout the day made for perfect visibility and comfortable diving from the moment we hit the water. The early start gave us the advantage of calm waters and optimal conditions that Crystal River is known for during this time of year. This was our New trip divemaster session, and I was representing ThennaDFF for what turned out to be a solid day on the water.
Once the stage was set, we focused on the core fundamentals that make Crystal River diving so rewarding. Buoyancy control, underwater navigation, and controlled ascents are perfectly suited for Crystal River's unique underwater environment.

We didn't stick a trophy on this run, but every cast and minute on the water was worth it. Crystal River offers some of the most consistent diving opportunities you'll find, and April continues to be one of my favorite months to get out there.
