Action-packed day from the get-go! I took Charan out for an afternoon of river fishing with SRS Adventures in Florida, KY. As spring settled in, we hit the water under partly cloudy skies. The conditions were just right for what we had planned. We launched from the 366R+3X area, ready to make the most of our time on the river.
With our gear rigged and ready, we started off with some bottom fishing. The river was generous, and it wasn't long before we hooked into a nice Red Snapper. Charan reeled in a beauty measuring 23 inches - a great catch for our waters! We switched things up, trying our hand at trolling and live bait fishing as well. Each technique brought its own excitement to the trip.
The variety of methods we used really showcased why this stretch of river is so popular among anglers. As the afternoon wore on, we kept at it, enjoying the partly cloudy weather and the steady action. We wrapped up the trip with smiles all around, that Red Snapper being the highlight of our day out with SRS Adventures.
