Flats Fishing Frenzy: May Mayhem in St. Petersburg Waters

I had a great day out on the water with Kumar for our Mate's Fee Only Card Shared trip with SRS Adventures in St. Petersburg, Florida. May is a fantastic time for flats fishing here, with warmer waters bringing in more baitfish and increasing activity on the flats. We kicked off early, meeting at 1:00 AM to make the most of the day. The weather was on our side with clear conditions, and the water looked great for fishing.

Kumar was a trooper, staying patient and keeping a positive attitude throughout the trip. That's what I love about fishing - even when the fish aren't biting, you're still out there learning, improving your skills, and just enjoying being on the water.
